Schools and Instruction
At Propel, the Schools Team is committed to working collaboratively with schools to ensure they are supported through various domains, including operations, budget management, coaching, professional development, strategic planning, student progress, and both instructional and non-instructional initiatives. Our team leverages their skills, knowledge, and expertise to develop strategies and plans that empower school leaders and staff to facilitate an environment where students can achieve excellence. We prioritize building trust and understanding and are committed to providing schools with the necessary tools and resources to meet their goals for success.
Educational Partnerships
The Educational Partnerships team develops external relationships with local community groups, school district authorizers, elected officials, and charter school associations to support the successful management of charter schools. Our support is delivered via three service pathways: overseeing school district authorizer relations, assisting with new charter school development, and providing extended learning opportunities.
School Policy, Safety and Wellness
The School Policy team serves as the central hub for establishing, implementing, and managing school policies that govern student and education-related aspects of schools. The department collaborates with school administrators, faculty, staff, students, and external stakeholders to develop, maintain, and uphold policies and procedures that promote a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment. From academic integrity and disciplinary procedures to safety protocols, legislative alignment, and graduation protocols, the School Policy Department works alongside school administration teams to ensure adherence to board policies and procedures while striving to enhance the overall educational experience for students and the greater school community at large. Through research, analysis, and continuous evaluation of systems, this department plays a critical role in shaping the educational landscape of schools and fosters a collaborative culture of accountability, equity, and excellence.
Enrollment and Engagement Strategy
Propel’s Enrollment & Engagement Strategy team partners with our schools to maintain or grow student enrollment for a healthy school site. It starts with creating a strategic enrollment plan that involves community outreach, marketing, family engagement, and process improvements. The team then works with marketing teams to generate leads while also engaging with community partners that serve the school’s student demographic. Finally, Propel’s team works with interested students and families to answer their questions about our schools and get them on the path to enrollment.
Student Records and Compliance
Student Records & Compliance monitors student records to ensure that schools are complying with State-mandated requirements while also submitting attendance apportionment on behalf of the schools. Student Records & Compliance staff conduct regular reviews of student records, support charter school staff requests, and provide clarification on requirements as questions arise. Student Records & Compliance also coordinates with chartering districts and outside auditors, providing data on behalf of schools.
Educational Administrative Support Services
The Educational Administrative Services team plays a vital role in supporting the overall mission and objectives of our organization. We create organizational efficiency and provide a comprehensive array of essential services that are integral to supporting the seamless functioning of both our internal operations and those of our valued clients. From facilitating transportation and travel arrangements to overseeing purchasing processes, managing back-office operations, and providing project support, we are dedicated to ensuring the smooth operation of all administrative functions.
